The Aspen Hope Center would like to extend an enormous “THANK YOU” to all who helped make this year’s Aspen Cares Fashion Show such an amazing success. This is the third year that the Hope Center has partnered with Aspen Cares and the third year that all local models and dancers helped to make it a dazzling performance.
Thank you to Ramona Bruland and Katy Parnello who initiated this collaboration and produce such an entertaining event each year. Thank you to Amanda Carlson for her creative choreography and Casey Nay for the brilliant marketing and design.
One of the biggest shout outs of THANKS goes to the almost 40 local community members who devoted countless hours of their own time to make this show great! These are our local yoga instructors, store managers and employees, CMC students, entrepreneurs, artists, hospitality workers, personal trainers and more. The community stepped up as they always do! Additional thanks to Michael Goldberg and the Belly Up Aspen staff, Jared Goulet at Gallery 1949 for providing a fun ‘in between’ gathering location the night of the show and to Skippy Mesirow and Gina Murdock for hosting the Gallery 1949 gathering and rallying the town to attend! The room was packed and we were humbled!
The Hope Center was only able to have three employees attend this event due to the numerous tragedies and crises that were taking place in the community. This night illuminated the dichotomy we find in our valley. We can be amidst fun and laughter and never know the pain and struggles others are facing. We are fortunate to be in a town where so many are willing to stand up and speak out about mental health. Thank you for your support. We could not exist without your gifts talent, time or treasure!!
